Security is the first priority at ARI Shipping and is part of everything we do. ARI Shipping Corporation and ARI Customs House Brokers, Inc. are approved and validated C-TPAT partners. The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism program was initiated after 09/11/01. The program’s focus is to secure the entire supply chain. ARI Shipping is also an approved Indirect Air Carrier (IAC) by the Transportation Security Administration. The Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Program was forged to protect the nation’s transportation system.

We are continually working to improve security and to ensure that cargo moving through our global network is secured. ARI Shipping recommends that importers will participate in the C-TPAT program to secure their supply chain. C-TPAT is important to all companies that import and need to minimize border delays. Our staff of professionals is ready to help our clients fulfill all of the requirements necessary for participation in the C-TPAT program for all their equipment shipping needs.

What You Can Do
ARI Shipping Corporation highly recommends that you take Insurance coverage for your cargo. Cargo Insurance is a critical part of the International and Domestic transportation Process. Our Risk Management team will evaluate your specific needs. We combine cargo insurance expertise with industry-leading cargo insurance carriers.

Our insurance rates are very competitive due to our high volume buying power. ARI Shipping can arrange complete door to door* coverage for your cargo against loss, damage, war, fire, or civil commotions. Before deciding not to take extended coverage to consider that the maximum liability provided by the airline is limited to US$9.07 per pound (US$20.00 per kilo) and the US $500.00 by a steamship line.

ARI Shipping will handle all the paperwork for you including filing a claim with the insurance company and the carrier, issuing the insurance certificate, follow up and billing process.
